These white iridescent mosaic wings with glass raindrops were commissioned by a client who wanted to memorialize her beloved dog who had recently passed away. As a long time dog owner it was an honor for me to work on this very special project. They look stunning and right at home in her beautiful New Orleans inspired bedroom.
Each wing measures approximately 30″L x 15″W x 1″H. Materials: wood, white iridescent stained glass, glass raindrop ornaments, adhesive, tile grout. They were completed in August 2018 © Amy Lou Fancher, all rights reserved. A few years later my client asked me to create a sculptural mosaic heart with the phrase “I carry your heart” to complete her vision for honoring her beloved dog.
