Some of the hearts feature a tiny vintage working compass, a brass heart, with wings and they each have an inspirational phrase hand stamped onto metal. They make lovely gifts for anniversaries, birthdays, wedding, graduation, and mothers day to name a few occasions!

These beautiful sculptural mosaic silver angel wings each measure approximately 28″ L x 14″ W x 3.5″ H (at the highest point) and weigh nine pounds each. They are meticulously crafted by hand sculpting four layers of foam feathers on top of a wood base and are covered in six different types of textured silver mirrored glass. Finished with a light gray sanded tile grout.

These white iridescent mosaic wings with glass raindrops were commissioned by a client who wanted to memorialize her beloved dog who had recently passed away. As a long time dog owner it was an honor for me to work on this very special project. They look stunning and right at home in her beautiful New Orleans inspired bedroom.
Each wing measures approximately 30″L x 15″W x 1″H. Materials: wood, white iridescent stained glass, glass raindrop ornaments, adhesive, tile grout. A few years later my client asked me to create a sculptural mosaic heart with the phrase “I carry your heart” to complete her vision for honoring her beloved dog.

This mosaic jeweled crown with blue jays looks great as a stand alone piece, or can be used to compliment an existing element, such as the silver mosaic angel wings. I’ve long been a fan of the crown motif and have often used it in my work over the years, but I’m really enjoying creating these elaborately embellished crowns with glass crystal jewels.
Materials Used: particle board, foam insulation, styrofoam balls, vintage blue jays china, amber mirrored glass, assorted glass crystal gems and rhinestones, glue, sanded tile grout

This mosaic jeweled crown is part of a large scale commissioned piece I completed in 2018. I’ve used the crown motif many times in my work over the years, but this is the most elaborate embellishment it has ever received…and I must say, it was so fun! I will definitely be making more jeweled crowns in the future.

This is an original, one of a kind mosaic Sugar Skull. I used vintage treasures that I had been saving for years on this baby! This truly unique piece has sold.

I’ve been making these sweet little mosaic birds since around 2005. They have evolved over time and no longer have pipe cleaner feet…after all, when you’re flying it’s more aerodynamic to have your feet tucked against your body, right? I’ve recently started making the wings out of brass, copper or aluminum that I stamp with a special phrase and some are also adorned with a metal crown.
