This mosaic jeweled crown is part of a large scale commissioned piece I completed in 2018. I’ve used the crown motif many times in my work over the years, but this is the most elaborate embellishment it has ever received…and I must say, it was so fun! I will definitely be making more jeweled crowns in the future.
Materials Used: particle board, foam insulation, styrofoam balls, vintage blue bird china, amber mirrored glass, assorted glass crystal gems and rhinestones, brass stamped frame, glue, sanded tile grout
Measurements: approximately 15″l x 15″w x 3″t
